This is the updated version of the Puffin TV Browser Downloads Fix on Android TV devices like the Nvidia Shield TV, Xiaomi Mi Box, Mecool KM9 Pro, Sony Android TV, etc. I have done a video on the past but the method was using Downloader, an app that is not available in the Google Play Store for Android TV. So in this video we are using a different method that works great as of November 2019. Get rid of the annoying notification on Puffin TV “Download Error not supported download is not supported on this device yet” and get the ability to download files back on your Android TV device, now!

How to Fix the Download not Supported Issue on Puffin TV Browser for Android TV November 2019 update:

  • First we need to uninstall Puffin TV Browser
  • Then we need to disable the Auto updates, we do not want Puffin TV to update again to the latest version
  • Next, download the Xplore file manager from Google Play on your Android TV device. Log into Google Drive from “Web Transfer”.
  • Download Google Drive on your smartphone and log in
  • If you do not have a smartphone, log into Google Drive from your Computer
  • Now go to https://dimitrology.com from your smartphone or computer and download Puffin TV Browser from the download APK section
  • Share the apk on Google Drive
  • Back on your Android TV device, open Xplore and the apk will be available in order to install.
  • FIXED!

With this method we install a previous version of Puffin TV Browser when the download function was still available. That is why we need to disable auto-updates from Play Store so that the app doesn’t update again.

If you use an Android TV then you should already know that Puffin TV Browser is the best out there. Not only it is easy to use but also has a unique feature. Puffin TV Browser can download files. This is a fantastic feature that with the latest update we lost. I’m not really sure why this happened. Fact is that now if you try to download something on any Android TV device like the Nvidia Shield TV, Xiaomi Mi Box S, Mecool Km9 Pro, etc you will get a Download Error. The message displays is “not supported. Download is not supported on this device yet”.
We can fix this easily by installing an older version of Puffin TV Browser back to our devices.

Exodus Redux Update 2.0.3a – The King Of KODI Addons Is Back

The Exodus Redux is a fork of Exodus and now has just been updated to the latest version 2.0.3a! It may be an Exodus fork but now comes with Lambda scrapers and ResolveURL. This offers you the best possible results when you are searching for a movie or a tv shows. Below you will find instructions on how to install it on KODI 18.4 Leia. Also it is very important that you follow the instructions on how to activate Lambda Scrapers in this KODI add-on. When it comes to movies and tv shows on KODI, Exodus is still the King!

Also note, this video add-on for KODI is a 3rd party add-on so please do not post questions about this add-on in the official Kodi forums.

Exodus Redux KODI

How to Install Exodus Redux on Kodi:

  • Open Kodi.
  • Choose File Manager and add the following URL: https://i-a-c.github.io/ and Press OK
  • Click over repo and give the name Redux, then press OK.
  • Now go back on HOME.
  • Select Add-ons from the left hand menu.
  • Then select Add-on Installer (icon that looks like an open box on the top left).
  • Also select Install from zip file.
  • Now navigate to Redux and select it
  • And select repository.exodusredux-x.x.x.zip
  • Wait for the Add-on enabled notification.
  • Select Install from Repository.
  • So now select Exodus Redux Repo.
  • Now select Video add-ons.
  • Select Exodus Redux.
  • Press Install.
  • Finally wait for Add-on installed notification.
  • Congrats, the add-on is now installed and it is ready to use. WARNING: Make sure to enable the Lambda Scrapers before running the add-on (see below). If not you will not get good results. Now the addon will be available in your Video Add-ons section, enjoy!

How to Enable Lambda Scrapers on Exodus Redux KODI Add-on:

  • Open Exodus Redux on KODI.
  • Go to Tools.
  • Select Providers.
  • Select “Lambda Scrapers” instead of “Built-in” as a Module Provider Source.
  • Lastly, press on OK.
  • Boom Shakalaka Baby! Lambda Scrapers are now activated! Enjoy more results on your Exodus Redux Add-on for KODI!
