How to Install The Pluto TV Kodi Add-on

  1. Launch KODI
  2. Over the top left click the System Settings Icon
  3. Click File Manager
  4. From the left click Add Source
  5. Now click where it says NONE
  6. And type in the URL: https://mrgsi.github.io/glive/
  7. Name the next box glive and click OK
  8. And once again click on OK
  9. Now go back to the main menu and select Add-ons
  10. From the top left select the Add-on Package Installer (Open Package Icon)
  11. Now select Install from zip file
  12. And now locate and choose glive repo
  13. And now click on repository.glive-1.X.X.zip
  14. Wait for the Repository to download and for the notifications that the “Repo is Installed”
  15. Then click Install from repository
  16. And select G-Live Repository
  17. Go into Video Add-ons
  18. Select  Pluto TV
  19. And lastly, click on Install
  20. A pop-up will inform you of all the additional add-ons that need to be installed simply click on OK

You can easily mount it on the wall and use the external IR receiver for a better signal for your remote control. On the front panel, there is just a power LED, red means powered off and blue when working.

On the back panel we find the DC in 5V, the LAN / Ethernet port, an HDMI 2.0 output for real 4K playback at 60 frames per second, an AV output in case you use a projector or older TV and the IR port for the external IR receiver. Performance on KODI is excellent, even at the highest resolution of 4K 10bit HDR the playback is flawless. The only downside, in my opinion, is the WiFi module which isn’t Dual Band. It only supports 2.4G but it is working very fast to be absolutely fair and not everyone has yet a Dual Band modem.
