YOKA KB2 TV BOX S912 2GB RAM 32GB eMMC DUAL WiFi PREVIEW
Currently playing with this bad boy from Videostrong that just came out and overall I am very surprised by the performance and the quality of this Android 6 Marshmallow TV Box. Comes with some great features like the Amlogic S912 Octacore 64bit CPU at 2.0Ghz, an ARM Mali-T820 GPU, 2Gb of DDR3 RAM, 32 Gb eMMC internal storage, Dual band WiFi 802.11 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v 4.0 and Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet). And not to mention the very interesting price, which can be also even lower on Gearbest for just $65.99 / €60.05 / £51.20!
Until now any video format I tested on the YOKA KB2 is playing flawlessly even in 4K HDR 10 @ 60 FPS. I tested it in 4K H.264 codec, H.265 and VP9, all passed with great quality! Absolutely stunning performance even on KODI with all the latest codecs. Also been testing it on Android gaming and until now, no problems found. I was able to use every wireless gamepad I have with no problems and playing Asphalt 8 for example is simply amazing! Big thumbs up to Videostrong!
I also like the fact that the WiFi antenna is external, which means even better performance and when it comes on aesthetics, the white looks with the lighting (when the device is on power) LED logo on the top make it very impressive! The firmware is just in it’s first release but I haven’t notice any bug worth mentioning until now. In the next days I will release also the video review but just as a hint, it will be very positive! Videostrong with this new TV Box made a solid product which will be a best seller in my opinion.
