K8 MINI PC WITH FLEXIBLE KEYBOARD AND CAPACITIVE TOUCHPAD

The advances of technology never cease to impress us! The K8 Mini Pc is a perfect example of innovation and thinking out of the box. The top side of the Windows 10 Mini Pc is actually a capacitive touch panel, a touchpad in other words just like one from a notebook, only that is better than most since it is biiger and also is a 10 point capacitive touch panel! Also on the other side, a foldable keyboard is attached to the K8 and not only works great but you can fold it around the Mini Pc when you want it to take it with you. It becomes so small that you can carry it easily in the pocket of your jacket!

As a matter of fact, the K8 Mini PC arrives already with a synthetic leather case, so it is easier and tidier to carry around if needed. And the specs of this easy to take with you Mini PC are quite impressive as well: an Intel Atom Cherry Trail Z8300 processor (1.44 GHz base frequency, up to 2.0 GHz boost), 4 GB of low-power DDR3 RAM, and 64 GB of eMMC storage. Also on the connectivity side is very nice too. It comes with two USB, 1 X USB 3.0 (!) so you can even connect a fast external hard drive and 1X USB 2.0. It also has an HDMI port, 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in microphone, Dual Band 5Ghz b/g/n WiFi with an external antenna, a SD Card slot up to 128Gb, a power button and a reset button as well. The performance on Windows is really optimal. Even when the device is under duress, you may feel some than usual heat but the performance keeps being flawless. And quite honestly I wasn’t expecting it to be such a smooth performer… When connected the dual display I thought that the Gen8 Intel HD Graphics GPU wouldn’t handle it. But i was wrong, the system was impressively stable and while drinking my espresso I found out that the keyboard is -thankfully- waterproof! By the way, it is a QWERTY keyboard just in case you were wondering.

And being a KODI fan, I couldn’t not install the latest KODI 17 Krypton on the K8 Mini Pc. The overall performance was great, up to Full HD / 1080p movies that playback was absolutely flawless. When tested the 4K resolutions, I noticed that the 10bit videos were suffering sometimes especially the ones over 200Mpbs . But this is a small fact to consider when you think the overall performance and the versatility of having an Mini PC.

Quite honestly, for work / office related work the Mini PC is an affordable solution that can also became very handy if you want to carry it with you. Also, you will not have the need to buy a new keyboard and mouse which make it even more attractive. An as an entertainment hub can do almost all the basic stuff: KODI, some gaming, browsing in plain harmony on internet while having reduced size and the commodity of using Windows 10.
