With glossy sides and matte the middle part of the plastics, the Sischion V99 distinguish from most Android TV Boxes. All the connection ports are situated in the back so it gives a zen impression with minimalistic design. Very lightweight as well, just 138gr is somehow similar to the Xiaomi Mi TV Box.
The Scishion V99 Hero TV Box is powered by a Rockchip RK3368 Octa-core 64 bit processor and a Power VR G6110 GPU is powerful enough for gaming and also as a media center. It supports H.265 HEVC and VP9 decoding so it runs 4K movies quite smoothly. Comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is also very impressive considering the price. Also to note that the built-in WiFi is Dual Band 2.4G and 5G and supports the Bluetooth version 4.0, very impressive as well!
In terms of benchmarks the Scishion V99 Hero is not the fastest device out there. But on the same time it is also faster than most devices on the market and especially for that price range is clearly one of the fastest! The only negative in my opinion is the Android version out of the box, comes with Android Lollipop 5.1. Of course even with Android 5.1 you can still install the latest version of KODI Krypton 17.3 with no issues at all, but I hope that Scishion comes soon with a firmware update so it would make it an unbeatable device for the price tag.
