Bubbles is the new huge thing in KODI 3rd party addons. Just like Exodus, SALTS, ZEN, Specto, Velocity, etc… is a multi-scraping addon for movies and tv shows with advanced settings. An speaking of advanced settings, Bubble KODI Addon has a ton of them!

LAMBDA CREATOR OF GENESIS AND EXODUS IS RETIRING!

Lambda, the creator of Exodus and previously Genesis has announced tonight that he is retiring. We can have a very long and detailed discussion on what exactly happened but that would not change anything but create more tension and of course it will not change the sad news that the best 3rd party developer of KODI addons has abandoned Exodus and TV Addons. Now Exodus is left to TV Addons and some other developer may carry on with it’s development but no details were given.

Even though I personally do not agree with the code the developer had introduced into his previous version of Exodus, it is disappointing see him leave and especially in this way. Lambda in those last seven years was the best of the 3rd party developers, had never provoked or took part into drama and gave a lot (together with other great developers especially from TV Addons) into the community. And if he did an error of judgement, he is still human after all. Luckily we can still enjoy his work as he maintains some very good addons in the Official KODI Repository. Read more

Genesis is not dead, Lambda will be making a huge comeback

A lot of rumors lately about Genesis, the most complete video add-on for KODI / XBMC that is also the most popular among KODI users. The rumors that Lambda, the developer of Genesis, will not update anymore his add-on became so adopted by the KODI Community that even many of the latest KODI Builds had Genesis removed!

The truth is that Genesis is still working, has not been updated though for a while and that causes some errors or problems with the latest movies specially and some hosts are not working ideally. It is still a better add-on though than many other out there and that’s why a lot of users keep using it as their main add-on.

Great news from Tvaddons.ag, the official home of Genesis from which on the latest newsletter I received was the following text that I quote:

3) Genesis Updates
It’s not updated yet, but we’ve now received confirmation from the lambda, the developer of Genesis, that the add-on will be making a huge comeback, however no timeline was given.

So Lambda  not only will continue working on it but he is coming back with a huge update! So stay tuned and don’t remove Genesis!
