If you have sideloaded apps on your Android TV / Google TV and they are missing, I’m gonna show you how you can find those Android applications and how to open them.

Though there are a lot of Android TV’s positives, there is still one significant negative: some apps are not Android TV-compatible. You won’t find them in the Google Play Store on your device.

Of course you can sideload them, meaning that you can download and install the apps but even then, some apps are missing from your App Drawer or your Android TV / Google TV home page.

In order to install apps from unknown sources or sideload apk on the Chromecast with Google TV, you need to enable developer settings.

In order to become a developer, simply go into Settings, System, About, Android TV Version Build and click 5-8 times. Then you will have developer access to your device.

Then Go back to System, Apps, Security & Restrictions, Unknown Sources and enable the option for the specific app you wish to install unknown apps.

As easy as that, you have successfully enabled your Chromecast with Google TV to install Android applications from unknown sources!

This is the brand-new Android TV device from Google with the Codename Sabrina. We do not know the commercial name of the device but we have some great leaks that will bring enthusiasm to a lot of users, me included!
The new Google’s Android TV device is powered by an Amlogic CPU but we do not know for sure the exact model. It supports Dolby Vision and most probably will bring also the latest version of Android TV.
The UI is new as well with some great new features that will make even easier and more beautiful the whole system. New integrations with Google Assistant / Google Home as well are coming.
As with any Android TV the device comes with a Chromecast Ultra built-in. This, considering also the fact that the device will cost at around $80 makes the Chromecast Ultra device obsolete.

On the back, we find a 12MP dual rear camera setup, dual-tone led flash, and the fingerprint sensor just beneath it.
